An Inter-Cultural Company promoting Urban Arts

We aim to produce a unique and distinctive style of b-boying (break dancing) and other street styles with contemporary dance influence. By developing new collaborations between British, European, and African arts and dance practitioners, under the urban arts umbrella, we aim to challenge and break through the barriers that divide different cultures.

Bridging Performance Disciplines

We present dance, urban art and sports in a performance theatre context. We aim to make our raw style of performance accessible, encouraging young people to take part in dance activities and bringing different people together to socialise and break down preconceptions. Our musicians, DJ's and artists (both graffiti and Celtic) surround the dance work with musical and visual work that extend the scope of performances.

Promoting Personal Development

We aim to provide people with a solid foundation for a full and active life through personal and social development. Many people who become involved with our projects experience a greater sense of personal awareness and higher levels of self-esteem, and they also widen their perspective on their future. The company's distinctive style is extremely effective in motivating individuals and groups to have fun and learn new skills, both artistic and personal

A Cross-Generational Approach

We are committed to a cross-generational approach to dance development, not only within the company but also the audience. Through studying dance development within inner cities, throughout Europe and the United States, we have come to realise the dynamic performance which involves the whole community and targets the audience, and not just the performers.
